I looked at a few dark files from the past couple of months and
computed power spectra, just taking the pixel stream as uniformly-spaced
samples at 2 usec intervals. The interval is probably slower than this
by a little, and I have no idea how uniform the spacing is (but it should
be ok because the buffer will hold more than a full image).
Plots are in www.solar/Develop/IVM_dark_power. No explanatory text, since
I was pretty much taking darks just to verify that the procedure worked
and didn't keep any notes. Some of them have no data in the geom side,
that was when the camera wasn't working well.
The geom level is higher, but it appears to include most of the spikes
that are seen in the data cam.
The spectra are smoothed with smooth2(pwr, 200). A couple of them may
have 100-px gaussian smoothing instead, that's only one px wide on the
computer screen so I broadened it.
There are save files with the freq and power arrays in the corresponding data
directories in lilikoi:/ivm/obs.
