The Haleakala Stokes Polarimeter (HSP) at Mees Solar Observatory on
Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii, measures the polarization of an absorption
line in the solar spectrum, and uses the polarization data to map the
vector magnetic field in the solar photosphere.
